UPDATE ON THE 51ST ANNUAL GMA DOVE AWARDS
As you know, this year is unlike any other. Thank you for your patience as we have thoughtfully considered our next steps for this year’s Dove Awards. The health and safety of our fans and community is our utmost priority. With large gatherings still discouraged, our board, staff and industry leaders felt that we should not plan to host our typical live event this year. If you have purchased tickets to this year’s show, your seat location and ticket type has already been transferred to the 2021 GMA Dove Awards (Oct. 19, 2021 in Nashville, TN). You do not need to do anything to confirm this transfer. A confirmation email will be sent in November for your records.
If you would like to request a refund, you may do so by contacting the Allen Arena box office via phone (615) 966-7075 or email rhonda.lehmer@lipscomb.edu. Box office hours will be limited during the Fall semester from 8am-12pm Monday-Friday. Please note, all refund requests must be received by October 1, 2020. However, even in the midst of our changed plans, God is at work. We’re excited to announce that we will continue our partnership with TBN and our artist and songwriter community to bring you a beautiful cinematic-like experience. This special, broadcast-only GMA Dove Awards will continue to showcase the music that moves us and also remind us how these songs and this Message minister to so many, especially this year. Please plan to tune in on Friday, October 30th for the 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards: Carry the Change broadcast celebration.
While this year is not what any of us planned for, God knew and He remains in control. He continues to use each of us, our words and our deeds, to bring His love to the world. We hope that you remain encouraged in His faithfulness. Thank you for your support of this music that points all of us to Christ. We hope to gather together again soon.
