CERTIFICATES
How can I order a certificate?

Customized Participation Certificates are available for all Dove Awards winners and nominees. These certificates recognize anyone creatively or professionally involved in a Dove winning or nominated project. Musicians, composers, publishers, studios, labels, etc. may order a Participation Certificate.

Certificates are 8.5x11 with customized information and are printed on heavy stock with a foil embossed shield. Each certificate is $75, which includes shipping in the continental US.

RED CARPET

How do I walk the Red Carpet?

Each nominee is invited to participate in the Dove Awards Media Room and Red Carpet. Here there are both official photo and interview opportunities. We do not assign specific time slots, however registration is required - CLICK HERE. Upon approval, further details, including check-in, will be sent to your representative's attention. Please note, for your security, ID will be checked before entering the Media Room this year. The Media Room and Red Carpet opens at 3:30pm. Nominees must be in the queue to enter the Red Carpet no later than 5:45 pm in order to be seated on time for the Telecast.

If you are in a Pre-Telecast category, we suggest arriving early to ensure you are at your seat when the Pre-Telecast starts at 5:15pm.

Who can walk the Red Carpet with me?

Nominees may have one publicist (or representative, ie: label/management) accompany them.

PRE TELECAST

When can I see the PreTelecast?
PreTelecast categories have been pre-recorded and will be presented by video at 5:15pm in Allen Arena, just prior to the live Telecast which begins at 6:30pm. This airing will be in-house only. Winners are embargoed until the day of the Telecast broadcast (Fri, Oct 20). On that date the PreTelecast will be aired publicly on the GMA Facebook and YouTube pages.
How do I know when my category is presented?

The Telecast will feature the following categories:

  • Song of the Year
  • Artist of the Year
  • New Artist of the Year
  • Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year
  • Spanish Language Recorded Song of the Year
  • Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year
  • Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year
  • Gospel Worship Album of the Year
  • Worship Album of the Year
  • Feature Film of the Year

The other remaining 27 categories will be in the pre-telecast.

AFTER PARTY

How does the After Party work?

Nominees may have one guest accompany them to the After Party.

Registration is required for all Nominees and Guests.

PRESS ROOM

Should I visit the press room outside of show times?
All nominees are invited to participate in the press room. Here you will have the opportunity for official photos on the red carpet as well as media interviews. For more information please contact Jules Wortman.
If I win during the PreTelecast, what should I do?

All winners will be invited to check-in at a table located in the arena on the floor of the house near the stage. Here you will be led to the official Dove Portrait Studio by Wander Creative as well as have an opportunity to deliver and record your acceptance speech.

If I win at the Telecast, where should I go?

After accepting your award on stage, winners will be lead by a Talent Escort representative to the press room for photos and interviews.

PARKING

Is parking reserved for nominees?
No, unfortunately we are not able to reserve parking for nominees.
Where should I park?
Parking on campus will be extremely limited. Satellite parking will be at Woodmont Hills Church (3710 Franklin Pike, Nashville 37204). Multiple shuttles will operate continuously from Woodmont Hills to campus. Please plan accordingly to allow extra time. Valet is not available.
Is there a charge for parking?
Yes, there is a charge for parking and using the shuttle from Woodmont Hills Church. The cost will be $10 per car; cash due at arrival. We will have attendants onsite to facilitate.
Where should I drop off for ride sharing?
Ride sharing, such as Uber or Lyft, is encouraged. Check back in early October for the GPS address to use/give your ride share driver as we finalize traffic flow for our event.

TICKETS
Do nominees get a comp ticket?

Nominees receive one complimentary ticket for themselves located in the Diamond section reserved for nominees, on the floor nearest the stage. There is one comp ticket max, regardless of multiple nominations.

How do I bring a guest?

Nominees may order one guest ticket to be seated with them at the discounted rate of $200 (normally $220). Additional tickets may be purchased at regular rates.

Can I give my comp ticket to someone else?

Tickets are intended only for the use of the specified nominee and are non-transferable. Nominee seat assignments are provided to TBN for camera shots. They must be used by the named nominee.

What if I am also performing or presenting?

Performers and presenters will receive two comp tickets. If nominated and performing/presenting, comp tickets may not be combined. Two comp tickets maximum are provided.

How do comp tickets work for a band/group?

For band/group members who are royalty participants in the band, each member receives a comp nominee ticket. Hired musicians/players with the band will need to purchase a ticket to attend.

How do comp tickets work for a choir?

For choirs who are a nominated artist, up to four comp tickets will be given. Additional requests will be decided case-by-case.

Do you automatically hold my tickets?

No, tickets are NOT automatically held for nominees. A GMA order form must be submitted to receive your tickets.

How do I order my tickets?

How do I receive my tickets?

Pick up your tickets at the Lipscomb box office*. Box office hours will be Monday, Oct. 16 from noon to 5pm and Tuesday, Oct. 17 from 8am to show time. We strongly encourage you to pick up tickets before 4:30pm Tuesday. The box office experiences peak volume Tuesday from 4:30-6pm. Avoiding those long lines will improve your event day experience. *EXCEPTION - If you are performing or presenting, your tickets will be in your talent packet backstage at Talent Check-In when you arrive Tuesday for dress rehearsal.
