What is a Dove Week Affiliate Event?

A Dove Week Affiliate Event is an independently hosted event or showcase that takes place during Dove Week and aligns with the values and mission of the Gospel Music Association. Becoming an affiliated event allows the event to be included in GMA’s marketing and Dove Week schedule, as determined solely by the Gospel Music Association.

By becoming a Dove Week Affiliate Event, hosts agree to the following parameters:

  • Events must be led and funded independently by the host organization or individual.
  • Affiliated events must adhere to the GMA Code of Conduct, and present content in a way that reflects positively on the Gospel Music Association and the gospel music community at large.
  • GMA does not provide technical support, staffing, or production assistance for affiliate events.
  • Affiliation does not imply endorsement or sponsorship by GMA.
  • GMA reserves the right to decline or remove any event that does not meet its standards of professionalism, safety, or alignment with Dove Week programming.
Who can host an event or showcase during Dove Week?

Any GMA Professional member may submit an application to become an Affiliate Event during Dove Week.

What is the timeline for participation?
  • July 1 - Applications open
  • August 1 - Deadline to submit final event details (registration link, assets)
  • September 1 - Final date to make changes to event details
How Do I Submit My Application?
What are the fees for submitting an Affiliate Event Request?
  • There is no application fee.
  • Once your event is approved, you will be invoiced a $200 hosting fee.
  • Payment of this fee confirms your event’s inclusion on the official Dove Week Affiliate Schedule and listing on the Dove Week event page at doveawards.com.
  • Your listing will include your event title, a link to your registration page, and a hi-res event graphic (pending approval by GMA).
  • All event graphics must be high resolution and meet GMA design standards in order to be published.

Is the application fee refundable?

The hosting fee is non-refundable after August 1, 2025. 

What information do I need to submit to GMA?

Through the Affiliate Application Form, you’ll need to provide:

  • Contact information
  • Event details (Date, Time, Venue, Ticket Price & Link)
  • Hi-res event graphic
  • Safety considerations
Can I Update My Event Details Later?

Yes. You can update event location or details until Monday, September 1. After that, no further changes will be accepted. Please contact adrienne@gospelmusic.org with any change requests.

What are the guidelines for events held during Dove week?

The nature of all affiliated events should be in accordance with the GMA’s Code of Conduct. Venues, agendas, and media coverage for affiliated events should be conducted in a manner that represents GMA and the Gospel Music Industry.  Partner events should be tasteful, appropriate, professional, and Christ-centered in nature.

What are the guidelines for use of the GMA name, logo or other trademarks?
  • You may reference the Dove Awards by name, only.
  • You may reference the Gospel Music Association by name, only.
  • Use of the Dove Awards logo or any GMA trademarks is strictly prohibited.
