The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has announced the second round of performing artists for the 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards. In addition to previously announced performers, the night will also include Anne Wilson, Blessing Offor, Brooke Ligertwood, DOE, Maverick City Music, Social Club Misfits, Steven Malcolm, Steven Curtis Chapman, TobyMac and a special Southern Gospel tribute featuring Karen Peck of Karen Peck & New River, High Road and Kim Hopper of The Hoppers. The GMA Dove Awards will air exclusively on TBN and the TBN app, Friday, October 21st at 8:00 p.m. ET and 10:00 p.m. ET, with an encore presentation on October 28th, 2022 at 8:00p.m. ET and 10:00p.m. ET and simulcasting on SiriusXM The Message.

Tickets have sold out for the in-person GMA Dove Awards Nashville event happening October 18th at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena. Key partners for this year’s Dove Awards include Grace Notes, an on-demand TV show where the biggest names in Christian music share the inspiring stories behind their favorite songs, and Christian music’s largest radio networks K-LOVE and AIR-1, creating compelling media that inspires and encourages listeners toward a meaningful relationship with Christ.

The 53rd Annual GMA Dove Awards are produced by the Gospel Music Association. Jackie Patillo and Justin Fratt serve as showrunners and executive producers, alongside Curtis Stoneberger and Paul Wright as producers. Russell E. Hall returns as director, Michael Nolan as scriptwriter, Scott Moore and Go Live Productions as production manager.

Nashville, TN (October, 20, 2020) The Gospel Music Association is excited to announce more exceptional performers for this year’s 51st Annual GMA Dove Awards. Artists scheduled to perform include “Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year” nominee Tauren Wells featuring Christine D’Clario, Jenn Johnson and Jekalyn Carr (a historic multi-genre collaboration), Jeremy Camp, Travis Greene, Pastor Mike Jr., The Sound and Switch.
Viewers can tune in to the global broadcast Friday, October 30th at 8 pm EST / 7 pm CST exclusively on TBN.
In the week leading up to the broadcast, SiriusXM will be airing exclusive performance clips on The Message (Channel 63), enLighten (Channel 65), and Kirk Franklin’s Praise (Channel 64).
As part of the show’s new direction, interview segments will take a deeper look into the year in Christian music featuring in-depth artist reflections from artists like Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Jonathan McReynolds, Karen Peck, Matthew West, Christine D’Clario, and Steven Curtis Chapman. Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes will share a special story-behind-the-song moment discussing the meaning of Dove Nominated Worship Song of the Year “The Blessing” as well as Leeland, Mandisa, and Sinach sharing the origin of “Way Maker.” Another special element that’s new to the Dove Awards is a segment of fans and artists talking about favorite songs that have impacted their lives.
“All of this year’s performers and participating artists have really brought something special and we are looking forward to what an impactful show it’s going to be,” shares GMA President Jackie Patillo. “We’re also thrilled to be working with SiriusXM to help spread the word about this year’s show.”

In an effort to reach as many Christian music fans as possible, the GMA has rallied with the industry’s top Christian radio partners and Digital Service Providers to share this year’s Dove Awards. In addition to the SiriusXM partnership, radio partners like KLOVE, The Fish Nashville, Rejoice!, Musical SoulFood, YES Lord Radio, and many more will be cross-posting the live event on their respective Facebook pages, hosting artist interviews and leveraging their airtime and social platforms to raise awareness. Digital Service Providers including Spotify and Pandora are creating specific playlists for the GMA Dove Awards Nominees and Apple Music is hosting a special Dove Awards Room featuring nominated music. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 29, 2015) – The GMA (Gospel Music Association) announces more performers and presenters for the 46th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Crowder, Big Daddy Weave, NF, I Am They and Karen Peck will perform. Tasha Cobbs, Kari Jobe, Phillips, Craig & Dean and Newsboys’ Michael Tait and Duncan Phillips will present top honors along with show co-hosts Erica Campbell and Sadie Robertson. The GMA Dove Awards will take place in Allen Arena at Lipscomb University on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 and will air on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 18, 2015. In addition, some of today’s leading radio personalities offer viewers a chance to see some of their favorite voices on the big stage. Wally, from The Wally Show, Willie Monroe Jr., of The Praise Mix Down and Jaci Velasquez of the Family Friendly Mornings with Doug & Jaci will present awards at this year’s ceremony.
These new appearances join already announced performers Casting Crowns, Lauren Daigle, Kirk Franklin and Danny Gokey, KB, Matt Maher, MercyMe, Tedashii and Brian Courtney Wilson. Over 1,500 professional members determine the Dove Award nominees with the winners voted on by the entire GMA membership of nearly 2,500. The awards are produced by the GMA.
