The 49th Annual GMA Dove Awards Nominees Announced Today with Tauren Wells Leading Artist Nominations with Eight and Zach Williams with Six

Cory Asbury, Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Tobymac Honored
with Five Nods Each

Awards to be held live Tuesday, October 16, at Lipscomb University
and will air on TBN on Sunday, October 21

 

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 8, 2018– The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced today the nominees for the 49th Annual GMA Dove Awards, revealed exclusively on Facebook Live with the help of Travis Greene and Francesca Battistelli. The awards show will take place on Tuesday, October 16, at Lipscomb University. Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) will exclusively air the show on Sunday, October 21. Voting for the final winners will run August 20 through August 27.

Tauren Wells leads artist nominations with eight, followed by Zach Williams with six and Cory Asbury, Tasha Cobbs Leonard and TobyMac with five nods each. Top nominated writer/producer Colby Wedgeworth scored eight nominations. View the full list of nominees here: http://bit.ly/DoveNominees2018.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 11, 2016) – Tonight the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards were held at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena. Awards were handed out in 44 categories plus special award categories. The sold-out show was hosted by for KING & COUNTRY and Tye Tribbett and featured performances by TobyMac, Tamela Mann, Hillsong UNITED, Matthew West, Natalie Grant and more.  The show will air on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) on Sunday, October 16th at 7 p.m. PST. After meeting for the first time today, show hosts for KING & COUNTRY and Tye Tribbett seamlessly entertained the hall with quick wit and captivating testimony. Highlights of the evening included a DC Talk reunion performance and Chris Tomlin accepting the SoundExchange Digital Radio Award.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 15, 2016) – The Gospel Music Association (GMA) announces more performers and presenters for the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards. Hillsong UNITED, Natalie Grant and Tamela Mann will perform. Priscilla Shirer and Ryan Stevenson will present. These new appearances join already announced performers TobyMac, Anthony Brown and Group TherAPy, Steven Curtis Chapman and Hollyn. Blanca and Travis Greene will host the pre-telecast. Hosted by for KING & COUNTRY and Tye Tribbett, the awards show will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Lipscomb’s University’s Allen Arena in Nashville at 6:30 p.m. CST. Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) will exclusively air the awards show on Sunday, October 16. Tickets are now on sale at the Allen Arena box office or online here.
